Khaleeja (“Khaleeja”, “we”, “us”) operates a curated online marketplace at khaleeja.com that connects buyers across the Gulf Cooperation Council (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) with verified women-owned businesses. Khaleeja is the platform — it is not the seller of products listed by makers, except where expressly stated.

For the purposes of these terms, “Buyer” means a person who places an order, “Maker” or “Seller” means a verified woman-owned business listing products, and “User” means anyone who accesses the site.

To create a Buyer account you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country of residence) and able to enter into binding contracts. To list as a Maker, your business must meet the criteria in our Seller Agreement, including documented 51%+ female ownership.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at security@khaleeja.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or are used for fraudulent activity.

When you place an order through Khaleeja you make an offer to buy from the Maker. The contract of sale is formed between the Buyer and the Maker once the order is accepted (typically when the order moves to “preparing”). Khaleeja collects payment on behalf of the Maker and remits funds less the platform fee and applicable taxes.

Prices are shown in AED by default; other GCC currencies are converted at checkout. All prices include applicable VAT where shown. Cash on Delivery (COD) is supported in selected countries; a COD handling fee may apply.

Shipping timelines and costs are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is consistent with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and analogous consumer-protection rules across the GCC.

Use of Khaleeja is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. You agree not to upload counterfeit goods, infringe intellectual property, attempt to circumvent platform fees, scrape the site, or harass other users.

The Khaleeja brand, the verified-maker badge (“✦ Verified · موثقة”), the site design, and all platform code are owned by Khaleeja and may not be used without permission. Each Maker retains rights to their own brand and product imagery and grants Khaleeja a limited licence to display them on the marketplace.

Khaleeja provides the marketplace “as is” and does not warrant uninterrupted availability. Information about products, including dimensions, materials and ingredients, is supplied by the Maker; while we curate, we do not independently verify every claim. Buyers should review product details and reviews before purchase.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khaleeja’s aggregate liability to any Buyer or Maker arising from or relating to use of the platform is limited to the greater of (a) AED 1,000 or (b) the total amount paid through Khaleeja in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death, personal injury, or fraud).

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes arising from these terms or use of Khaleeja are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are posted at the top of this page with an updated “last updated” date and (where the change affects active orders or accounts) notified by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
