IP & Counterfeit Policy

Khaleeja exists to celebrate original work by women makers. We take counterfeits, replicas, and IP infringement seriously.

What we don't allow

  • Counterfeit goods or replicas of branded products.
  • Listings that copy a maker's photographs, descriptions, or designs.
  • Use of trademarks, logos, or brand names you don't own or have permission to use.
  • Designs that copy protected works (registered designs, copyrighted patterns, trade-dress).
2

How to report (rights holders)

If you own a trademark, copyright, or design right that's being infringed:

  • Email ip@khaleeja.com with the subject “IP Notice”.
  • Include: your name and contact, the right you're asserting (with proof of ownership), the URLs of the listings you believe infringe, and a statement made in good faith that the listing is unauthorised.
  • We acknowledge within 2 business days and act on valid notices within 5 business days.
3

Counter-notice (sellers)

If your listing is removed and you believe it was in error, you can submit a counter-notice to ip@khaleeja.com with proof of your right to sell the item. We restore listings where the counter-notice is well-founded and the original notice cannot be substantiated.

4

Repeat infringers

Sellers with multiple substantiated infringement notices in any 12-month period are removed from Khaleeja and barred from re-listing. We reserve the right to report serial counterfeiters to UAE Ministry of Economy and analogous GCC authorities.
