Acceptable Use Policy

A short, clear list of what is and isn't allowed on Khaleeja, for buyers, makers, and visitors.

What's not allowed on Khaleeja

  • Counterfeit goods, replicas, or items using protected trademarks without licence.
  • Items prohibited under GCC laws (alcohol, pork products, narcotics, weapons, gambling devices, certain religious materials).
  • Adult content, hate speech, or material that demeans women — counter to the brand promise.
  • Items that infringe third-party intellectual property.
  • Misleading product descriptions (false claims about materials, ingredients, origin, certification).
  • Off-platform payment requests — circumventing Khaleeja checkout to avoid fees.
  • Harassment of buyers, makers, or Khaleeja staff in messages, reviews, or any channel.
  • Spam, mass solicitations, or scraping the marketplace.
  • Attempts to manipulate reviews, ratings, or search rankings.
  • Use of Khaleeja credentials by anyone other than the account owner.

Reviews

  • Only verified buyers (with a fulfilled order for the product) may leave reviews.
  • Reviews must be honest and based on personal experience.
  • Personal attacks, threats, or content unrelated to the product or transaction will be removed.
  • Makers may respond publicly but must not retaliate against reviewers.

Reporting violations

If you see something that violates this policy, report it to trust@khaleeja.com with as much detail as possible. We act on reports within 2 business days.

Consequences

  • First minor breach: a warning and a chance to correct the listing or behaviour.
  • Repeat or serious breach: temporary listing pause or account suspension.
  • Counterfeits, fraud, or harassment: immediate account termination and, where required, referral to authorities.
